Here's his message, regarding my grandfather (his mother's uncle):

Pozdrowienia z Bochum . Mama opowiadala mi o wujku ktury wyjechal do Angli ale kotakt sie urwal i go wiencej nie widzala to byl brat babci . Ostatnio bylismy w Korczewie wujek brat mamy mowil nam ze odnalazla sie rodzina w Angi wienc milo was wszystkich pozdrawiamy

I put it through google translate, with disappointing results:

Greetings from Bochum. My mother she told me about Uncle specialist factory left for England but it broke off kotakt wreaths and it was not a brother widzala grandmother. Recently we were in my uncle's brother Korczew we spoke to us from the family found itself in wreaths Angi milo greet you all

Can someone translate his message better for me?

One problem is that it isn't very well written in Polish. Perhaps one issue was copying handwriting. But here's a translation.

Greetings from Bochum. My mother told me about an uncle who went to England but broke off contact so she didn't hear from him again. This was grandmother's brother. Recently we were in Korczew. Uncle (mother's brother) told us he'd found the family in England so we greet you all fondly.

Many thanks, the translation is great. He sent me it as an online message so it wasn't his handwriting that was the issue - maybe he's just a poor speller.

More likely the problem was the absence of ę,±,ł etc on the German keyboard. Hence the stuff about wreaths and factories.
