A good English slang translation of mieć coś lub kogoś w d---?

my 2 cents:

miec kogos w nosie = i'm pissed at (someone).

miec kogos w dupie = i don't see a direct translation for this, but it's very strong. kinda like, "you can go to hell" or "to hell with you" or something like that.

in English, we don't put people up our asses so it's a tough translation.

"mam cię w d*pie" - I don't give a flying f*ck about you etc.

"mam to w d*pie" (in reaction to a situation or problem) - "whatever" "I don't give a sh*t" etc.

Also, "mieć w nosie" is a euphemism for "mieć w dupie", so they both have the same meaning.

countless times i've heard poles say after someone pissed them off, "mam (kogos) w nosie" to mean i'm upset with/mad at/pissed at (someone). on top of that, the times I've asked poles to translate it, they've given me that answer.

if it's not a perfect translation, my apologies. like i said, just my 2 cents.

that's weird, because it simply means "i don't give a flying monkey anymore"... it's usually expressed after a huge pi55 off...

It's fairly typical to react to someone in anger by saying "mam cię w nosie / d*pie" (I hate you, and so I don't care about what you think or do any more).

same goes for 'miec kogos w dupie' :)
both sound weird when you're taking it literally

Nie, it would simply be 'I don't give a sh*t or 'I don't give a flying fu*k'. I couldn't care less is another option.
