hi kar

those names cannot be translated into Polish - the practice is such names are taken (written) in their English form and just pronounced a bit different for the lack of identical sounds in Polish phonology /language

still even the names that have their Polish counterparts like Andrew (Andrzej) George (Jerzy), Mary (Maria), Elisabeth (Elżbieta) tend not to be translated and are written and spoken as they are in English (with the limitations of Polish pronounciation)

I have seen Wiesław and Wacław translated in America (often by people yearning Americanisation who got such names from their immigrant parents) into Wallace and Wesley. Maybe reverse-wise Weston could pass as Wiesław, just as Mitchell, Stanley and Chester (by custom, not etymology) often are used for Mieczysław, Stanisław and Czesław respectively.
Linda could stay Linda which incidentally is a first name currently used by more than 600 women in Poland.
