You mean as a request to someone else, that he shouldn't forget?

Nigdy nie zapomnij!

As another translation I saw here somewhere a while back, this phrase doesn't sound as good in Polish.

If in tattoo, I would use :

"Nigdy nie zapomnij!" (Never forget) or just "Nie zapomnij!" (Don't forget!)

I agree, 'nie zapominaj' sounds more Polish while 'nigdy nie zapomnij' sounds kind of like a translation (which it is, of course)

On the other hand, neither seems like a good tattoo choice as neither has the impact in Polish that the English phrase does.

Also, both those are singular while 'never forget' sounds to me like a general warning so that the plural might be more appropriate.

nigdy nie zapomnijcie

Maybe something in first person plural would be better

Nigdy nie zapomnijmy

Nie zapominajmy

or rephrase

Obrońmy pamięć or Strzeżmy pamięć

(let's preserve/guard (the) memory) though I don't know if tht makes sense unless you state the memory of what.....
