Hello, I have recently been trying to retreive some birth records for my great grandfather who was from Sieradza near Tarnow. I have been using some Polish letter guides and google translate to communicate with the civil officials there but I am not sure if I am understanding the last correspondence from them I beleive they are asking me for proof of kinship but not sure what they require. Could some one please take a look at the below and let me know what documents the official is looking for from me?

jeśli posiada Pan np. odpis aktu urodzenia Pana ojca, dziadka czy akt małżeństwa, zgonu pradziadka, dziadka to bardzo proszę o przesłanie kopii tych dokumentów e-mailem lub pocztą tradycyjną. Zgodnie bowiem z art. 83 Prawa o aktach stanu cywilnego odpisy z ksiąg stanu cywilnego wydaje się na wniosek sądu, lub innego organu państwowego, osoby której stan cywilny został w akcie stwierdzony, jej wstępnego, zstępnego ( tj. syn, ojciec, dziadek, wnuk), rodzeństwa, małżonka. Dlatego też konieczne jest udowodnienie stopnia pokrewieństwa Pana w stosunku do Franciszka Chmury.
