it's cooler in english.

also, if "believe" as in "you believe" then "wierz w karmę" would be best. if "to believe" then you're ok.

Uwierz
w karmę

Wierz w karmę nie jest gramatycznie poprawne.

In fact it sound ridiculous. Karma in polish is also foodstuff or provender.

Nope it is not. "wierzyć w karmę" is 'to believe in karma'

But I might have a suggestion for you, something that would sound and look well and be essentially true to your original message: KARMA MOJA WIARA (translated: Karma my belief)

What if it's an imperative - which is what I took the phrase to be.

Believe in Karma - as in please do, you should, it's a good idea.

Would the Polish verb/grammar change in that case?

It's important - it is a tattoo after all!

Uwierz w karmę

but it sounds little bit lame, "karma moja wiara" (karma my faith) slightly better.

I don't advise using the word 'karma'. In Polish "karma" means the sort of food you give to animals and this will be the first thing that comes to the mind of a Polish-speaker when seeing this tattoo.

Yes, yours. But do you really think it would be the same for most Poles? You think if she came to Poland with a tattoo like that, nobody would make fun of it? It's best to be careful about something that you will have on your body for the rest of your life.

True. It took me years to decide which one I would have as I will have to wear it the rest of my life. And I think I made a good choice :)

You know, imo a very silly thing to do is take one example tattoo from the books they have there. It's like you're unique out of a book :)

I had my own design and it's great :)

I already have posted a pic of it, a long time ago. Will see if I still have it. But to give you a hint, it's a French Lily.
