Thank You Note - Is this a good translation?

I do not speak Polish but I am friends with a great family from Poland who now live in the United States. The three sons speak English but the parents do not. Anyway, I am moving to another state, but before I leave I would like to give the parents a Thank You note.

This is what I'm trying to say:

Thank you for your hospitality this past year. Your kindness is greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten. I am thankful to have met such a wonderful family.

I asked a friend of mine for a translation, and she provided me with this:

Chcemy państwo gorąco podziękować za gośćinność ktorą nam państwo pokazalo.Jesteśmy serdecznie wdzięczni. Mielieśmy dużo szczęscia spotkać taką wspanialą rodzine.

Życzymy wszystkiego najlpeszego,

Not to second guess her, but when I used an online translator to convert it back to English the message seemed very altered and appeared to have We's in place of I's, and I want to make sure the note is singular as it is only from me, not from a group of people. (I know online translators can never be trusted... that's why I came here :)

Is her translation correct?

(Also, I don't have to end with "All the best" if that doesn't translate well in Polish.)

*you're right. I switched it to singular. Wait for some more tweeking from others. This note has all the meaning you wanted to convey but it's lacking something.
