Im looking for some common ways to start conversation to - like how do you say whats up or something more involved to that effect? I dont want to keep saying 'how are you' or jak tam all the time..any other ways? thanks

In a nutshell - I feel like we've known each other for ages... I think? Not sure if I translated it correctly and when you'd use it? Have you "met" someone who doesn't speak any English at all?
