not take notice that we have a heart that beats until it doesn't hurt (quasi-literal)

we don't realise our hearts beating so hard, it almost hurts (recast to more normal English)

Song lyric?

Hi Alex,

Thank you for the translation.

No, not a song, me and my fiancé broke up, and she used that line.. My polish is not so good that's why I was asking.

Thank you so much.

Gio - sympathies, Mate. Hope you find your Rose.

pgtx: thanks - you're right, didn't get the double negative...

"We don't realise that we have a heart which beats, until it hurts".

But I have a feeling it may be an idiom, like "absence makes the heart grow fonder" or something like that, but I'm not really sure.

The literal translation is easy, but there's more to it than that ;)
