Wedding translations please! Best Man, Father of the Groom.

Ring bearer reminds me of the old Polonian joke: How do you say pallbearer in Polish? Some have tried to coin trumnosz as the equivalent but it hasn't really caught on.

Starszy dużba is a translation of best man as opposed to the remaining groomsmen - drużbowie.
Simialrzy starsza druhna is the maid of honour as opposed to the other bridesmaids (druhny).
Depending on a family's affluence and/or love of ceremony, there can be several groomsemen and bridesmaids.

Ring bearer - Powiernik Pierścienia? Sorry, it's just a small pun. ;) Peter_olsztyn is right, there is no name for this function in Polish. In fact, I'm not certain if the role exists in our tradition at all.

Should be:

Best Man - Świadek

Father of the Groom - Ojciec Pana Młodego

Ring bearer - not a Polish custom
but you can use : Chłopiec niosący obrączki ( Boy carrying wedding rings)

Flower girl - (just in case you need it) - Dziewczynka z kwiatami

Our wedding day Tracy & Piotrek 1st October 2011 (the sentence makes no sense)

Nasz ślub odbędzie się 01 października 2011 roku... (Our wedding day is on 01 October 2011...)

Goury: Ring bearer - Powiernik Pierścienia? Maybe I ought to explain it. Frodo Baggins was nicknamed "The Ring Bearer". The term was translated into Polish as "Powiernik Pierścienia", but you shouldn't use it because people might think that you are a wacky fan of J.R R. Tolkien. I agree with Asik "Chłopiec niosący obrączki" is the best option. I also wish you all the best!!!

Ciesielska: Ring bearer In Poland most of the time it's the best man who carries the rings, usually in his pocket, and hands them to the bride and groom at the appropriate moment. All the best :)

Isn't żałobnik a mourner, ie everyone who has come to pay their last respects to the deceased? I understand that long ago there also used to be płaczki (weepers -- women hired to weep and wail over ther coffin).
Pallbearer is also a cultural thing. At Polish urban funerals it is the undertaker's men (karawaniarze) who perform this service. In America relatives and close friends are honoured to carry the coffin.
