Chciałbym Cie prosić Frank(Franciszku) o ręke twojej córki I want to ask you Frank, for your daughters hand. Is this what you want to say? ask for permission of father? Bojalby= wtf? it is not even a word in polish, I don't know, what do you wanted to say. Maybe poślubienie? = marry, wed

Sildar: Bojalby= wtf? it is not even a word in polish Quite. And if it was a word it would mean either fight or fear. edit maybe a spelling mistake 'brałby' from brać/take, . But that wouldn't be right either.

pojąłby? pojąć za żonę - to take as wife, marry But then the sentence should sound, with least changes: chciałbym, Frank, pozwolenie, żeby pojąć za żonę twoją córkę. A simpler version: chciałbym ożenić się z twoją córką.

Joe - the best way to say it is Frank (I guess it's Franek- or isn't he Franek but Frank? ;) - so Frank, proszę o rękę Twojej córki - Sildar was right in this

if the guy speaks decent English way not turn to him in your language - it's the language of your emotions after all

THANKS FOR THE REPLIES. YES I WANT OT ASK FRANK FOR PERMISSION TO MARRY HIS DAUGHTER MARGIE. HE DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH WELL AND HE WOULD BE IMPRESSED TO SAY THE LEAST IF I COULD ASK HIM IN POLISH. PLEASE TELL ME THE CORRECT POLISH SPELLING AND ALSO THE PHONETIC SPELLING TO HELP ME IN THE PRONUNCIATION.
