Funny origin of croissant and cappucino

What is interesting that most of historicians consider that first croissants were baked after victory in Battle of Viena (1686). when Polish and German troops (mostly Polish ;) ) smashed Turks. (yes there was so exotic alliance in our history Poland and German countries togheter)

Bakers in Viena were so happy that they decided to bake cakes in shape which was on Ottoman falg. So when you se muslim eating crossant you know what to think ;)

cappucino was invented in the same time, it was made form coffe Turks left after defeat.
