Besides, most gay people are not agressive and do not force thier sexuality on anybody. It is the heterosexual, insecure males who have a problem with it, or people who simply don't understand that everybody has the right to a fulfilling life. There maybe a division of classes but that doesn't apply to marriage and I am glad that the Canadian government had made that step.
Exactly, don't forget that Gay-Bashers are usually homosexuals who cannot cope with it. A decade ago there was a hausse in divorces in Holland of ppl who were married for 30 years or more. They just married back then because of their environment, but in the end just couldn't deny who they really were and since it is now more generally accepted (except a few, as I would like to call it, nut-cases who still believe that some God from 2000 years ago points his finger at them and says: fight it or I'll spank you -which is gay in a sense too:) ), they can now proceed and be freed of a burden placed upon them by society and finally be what they want to be. Which is a basic human right; don't we all want to be what we really want? If you can be what you want, and I can be what I want, why then can't homosexual ppl be what they want to be?

Now thats not likely to happen now is it, I hear that gay men are quite picky...
Ah well, maybe just to get back at him; I hear from gay friends that they also like challenges :)

And no its not a gay thing, its sexual abuse, priests abused females in Ireland too
It is definitively not a gay thing - it is about paedophile sexual abuse; gay sex has usual two consenting partners whereas paedophiliae involves children which can hardly be called able to consent with something they do not yet understand. That makes paedophiles so disgusting. In Ireland it was the main reason why the public left their churches: "if this priest whom we trusted our entire lives, followed his advice and saw him as a father to us all, behind our backs abused our children, whom can we trust?" (forgot from which film this quote is). But as I may believe according to some religious fanatics on this forum, once you condone homosexuality, you automatically condone paedophiles, bestiality and some other deranged forms of sexuality. Funny thing is that these all have nothing, absolutely NOTHING to do with being gay.
M-G (I really cannot believe that in the 21st Century we are still having this discussion)
