Hi all, im going to the heineken opener festival with a friend who is Polish and i was wondering what Gdansk/Sopot/Gdynia would be like at this time of year? I also wondered if anyone in the area would like to share a few drinks or something around this time as i am looking to mix as much as possible

You'll love it lee. I still havent visited Gdansk was planning to go there with my misses before I decided to finish it << IDIOT.. Still it will be good to go to a festival that has good beer. I come from Reading UK and we have the reading festival every year. Great bands but it sponsored by carling So if you want to get hammered in the stage area its Jack daniels or carling. Hmmmm

I am indeed. If i was sensible I would go back home, but I have a job here a place to live and I really am in love with it here. I finished with my girl because she is 26 and I dont think I will spend all my life here yet and I dont want to waste her time. We'd been together a year already and I know she would like to be married soon. Im only 21 and I dont think I will stay here for good yet, maybe a year or 2 more then come back when Im older. She was in uk for 3 years and doesnt want to go back. Anyway Poland rocks. When are you coming here?

Very soon. by the way for 21, thats an exceptionally mature attitude you have towards life and relationship, nice one. I wish I'd been so level headed at that age.

How Many English pounds do you think i will need to be comfortable for 10 days? This isnt including accomodation ar anything just basic spending money. I'm tinking about 800 pound which would be approximately 4800 zloty (correct me if i am wrong)

WOW you wont need much mate. 800 x 5.77. so youre about right. For 8 days i think maybe 400 should be more than enough. I live on about 2-300 a month

I remember meeting this English guy going over for the weekend for a wedding and he asked us if £1000 would cover everything, couldn't stop laughing.
