Hello my name is Giles, I'm new to this forum so just saying hi. I'm relocating to the Tri-city area and would like to compile a list of ex-pats in the area so I might have some Uk/US contacts out there when I move.

Hey Mr.D I'm sober...ok, a bit stoned, but definately not yet drunk. Sorry last week, had too much guiness. I'm not a particularly capable drinker and if I indulge in the afternoon, or god forbid the morning, thats it day over. Last week I was drunk way too often so this week am chilling. Till Saturday.
Mr.D, you good? life treating you well?

Giles, as I understand it, you are relocating to Gdansk for a long period of time. You may meet teachers of English as there are many language schools in that area of Poland. Sopot is a nice litle town with a different feel to it and there used to be a little bar run by a Scotsman and a Pole. I think that it used to be called the English Club or some name very similar. They did have a lot of trouble at the time of my visit of gaining permission to hold their alcohol licnece but that was a few years ago now. Quite small, though lots of character and you can meet lots of Polsih people who are interested in foreign affairs as well as some english ex-pats. Up the road there is or at least there was an Irish theme pub and I heard English spoken in there too.
