Anyone used 23andMe.com? 'to find a family from Poland'

Wondering if anyone here has used 23andMe.com DNA services? I have in hopes of finding polish family but I just wonder how well known it is in Poland.

I think it's not very definitive. From your last few posts you're

looking for your grandfather's family. And from what you said you

already know perhaps most of what 23andMe can tell you. I would not

care to pay for such sites.

However, if I were you I will hire and international investigator.

More pricey but it's better than some hoo haa website to tell you

where you came from, and perhaps most of the information you already

know.

Thank you for the reply "theAsianSkeptic"! Actually, I've already done the test at the request of a cousin that wasn't truly sure we were related. My mom and my fathers brother have taken it as well. I have a few "Polish" connections but just wondered how popular it might be with this community.

It has been pretty interesting really. I have found out things I wouldn't have if I'd not done it and it's helping me along with my research.

So you would recommend it, its worth the money??
