I am searching for Polish records, family & ancestors of my Grandfather: Boleslaw Fedorowicz/Federovich born 26 May 1886. His father was Tomasz Fedorowicz his mother Karolina Zebrowska/Zhebrovskaya. An old photograph I have of his parents states "math teacher and blacksmith". According to a translation of his birth certificate it appears he was born in Grodek, Mazowiecke County, Kuczyn (Parish), Klukowa gmina, Lomza Governorate. Some of the records I have only state he was born in Lomza or Lormza. He came to the US in 1906 thru Ellis Island and the ship Manifest says he came from "Taporoic or Zaporoic, Russia" which I cannot locate or confirm. He settled in Detroit Michigan USA where he remained until his death in 1959.

Boleslaw also had an older sister, Stanislawa, born in 1884; She married Boleslaw Henry Redgate (an Englishman who was working at the British Consulate in Warsaw). They came to the US in 1906 with their 2 children, Barbara and Anton. The Ship manifest states she came from Kaninskoj, Russia and went to Schenecdaty, New York. Boleslaw Redgate and Stanislawa (Sadie or Stasha) Redgate eventually had 2 more children in the US: Julia and Raymond and they all settled in East Orange, New Jersey where they remained. They have all passed away and I cannot locate any further information for them.

I believe, but cannot confirm, that Boleslaw Fedorowicz also had a brother Vincenty Fedorowicz but I have no information on him at all. I'm not sure he ever left Poland/Russia.

Any information or assistance in locating records would be most sincerely appreciated.
