Hi again Paulina, Thank you so much for that. I cant recall how I tried to contact him before, but I only found an eamil address for him a few days ago, but as you say that may well be wrong. But now there is a known living Nephew (Brothers Son) it does sound promising. I will be around should you have anything more to tell & be watching that website too. Best regards to you & thanks again Bernie

Hi Paulina, I see the moderator has answered. he spoke warmly to him a few days ago, now says its not possible to give us an email? I am very dissappointed with what he says. I have found all the correct information about czternastek & wydrowski where others have failed or not bothered with czternastek & wydrowski being written many wrong things about the incident, it seems they want to use my knowedge but tell me none of their knowledge.

Hi Paulina

Take it easy, Bernie ;) The moderator wrote that Andrzejewski doesn't have an e-mail address, he writes only traditional letters. In his previous comment he wrote that he "talked" to Andrzejewski so he must have talked to him by phone.

The moderator also proposed to continue the conversation by PM or e-mail.
So what would you like me to write to him? I could ask him whether Andrzejewski gave him the contact info to that nephew and if he didn't then maybe I'll ask him to pass on this info to us from Andrzejewski? OK?

Hi paulina ! sorry I got a bit worried there! well..........basically this. I have spent nearly 4 years now on this & have found out the truth of what happened. I have documents of the people who tended the crashed planes.I have reports on the Mission, I have found wyrowsky's family & got more of the story about him . I have everything I need to write the true story correctly. The details that mr Andrzejewski had got wrong, I can give him, so he can correct his story published on the internet. I am in contact with someone who lives near me who actually saw the Accident happen ! I also have the report from the air crash/Police?ambulance/Fire people who attended the crash & found Czternastek .also I shall inform all the other websites & the paf of the correct details when I have finished too. I want to arrange a memorial locally here, but as it was Czternastek who was killed I need to contact a family member out of pure courtesy before I do it. when I have done this, I will write the full story & make sure that the records are set straight with everyone. I need to know the name, age, of czternasteks brother who died in 2006 & any other siblings too, even if now dead. & anything else possible about him. & also the same, name approx age?of his Nephew too[/b]. also, I cannot register with the dws website, part of the registration process is missing (where you copy a word?) If I can join the website it will save you too much work paulina, you have been so good helping me, I am really grateful. My grandfather was of Polish parents, so it is personal to me & because I met many Poles who stayed here after the war, & have great respect for the Poles & want to see the records of these 2 Brave young men put down correctly for all to see. so what do you think? Its a lot to ask you I know, but it is for a good cause ! (;-) best regards bernie

lso, I cannot register with the dws website, part of the registration process is missing (where you copy a word?)

You probably mean that part "Kod potwierdzający"? You have to type in the Polish word for a given number. Now it's "4" so the word you should type in is cztery.

Bernie, you can try to register on dws.org.pl in the meantime, because I don't have time right now - I'll write that private message to the moderator in the evening probably. But what would like me to write exactly? I understand you would like to have the contact info to that nephew, yes? Something more? Andrzejewski's phone number? His address for correspondence?

(in case the number for the registration on dws.org.pl would change :

1- jeden
2 - dwa
3 - trzy
4 - cztery
5 - pięć
6 - sześć
7 - siedem
8 - osiem
9 - dziewięć
10 - dziesięć )

Bernie, I've just sent a private message to that moderator, I've asked him for a contact info to the nephew, phone number and correspondence address of Zenon Andrzejewski and any info about the nephew and Czternastek's late brother (their names, age).

Hopefully we'll get some answer tomorrow :)

Hi Paulina! I'm glad I chose the right words then (;-) ...........I have joined dws website ok,.................BUT cannot post??? I write a post after converting the page to english with the translator programme, but when I try to post it, the message dissappears, then says there are too few characters in this message!, I ve tried re-writing the message, (half a page) the same happens......possibly because I'm writing in english I think, I dont know whether I can get this to work, do you know if its possible? maybe you can ask. But it doesnt matter too much, if You can keep posting for me, but I know you are busy & dont want to give you too much work. Still maybe if any more news comes you can let me know.................so for now we will watch space...............& S t a r s * * * * (;-))

Hi, Stanislaw Czternastek was a cousin of my grandmother. She died last year, but I have an uncle, who lives in Radymno (small town nearby of Przemysl), and who is very interested in local and family history. Would you like to get in touch? You can email me at kkowal78@gmail.

Thank you.

hello to everybody, at long last I have been contated by a living relative of Czternastek,a Grandson of Czternasteks cousin, living here in England. He in turn is contacting his Uncle in Poland, who is a closer Relative from near Przemysl. Also I am awaiting a reply from another Relative (Czternasteks Nephew) so if there is anyone else who would like to contact me that would be great, as I am soon to organise the Memorial & service here in the UK. best regards from Bernie in the UK................(PolishPilotinfo)

Merged:

RAF Fighter Pilot

Hello:

I have the personal effects of a Polish Lieutenant who served in the RAF and who passed away in 1996 leaving no ancestors here. He is buried in Canada. He was a personal friend of the family. He leaves one daughter in England who resided in Radwell, Baldock in 1967. My intent is to mail these on to his ancestors. I cannot disclose too much information, as this serves to verify the lineage of the correspondent.

I have his flight logs (317,307 and Moroccan training school logs), passports, and various personal certificates.
It includes names of parents and Polish place of residents. There is nothing of monetary value in the effects.

My concerns, if the ancestor resides in Poland, would be the degree of cooperation of Poland in it's postal systems and border customs, and the degree of help and confidence in their system in getting the parcel to the ancestor. If he/she is in England or in the Dominion, I'm not too concerned.

Any help and advice will be appreciated.

Thank you.

My intent is to mail these on to his ancestors.

That might be difficult - I think you mean his descendants ;)

confidence in their system in getting the parcel to the ancestor.

The Polish postal service Poczta Polska is very unreliable. Stuff goes missing all the time. Some national mail carriers eg Royal Mail in the UK pass the registered/tracked mail on to private couriers in Poland as they are more dependable. Royal Mail uses GLS. If you end up sending the parcel to Poland, I would suggest you find out from Canadian postal service whether they use a courier in Poland for their deliveries. If they don't, then use a reliable courier service which will provide insurance and tracking.
