I am trying to find lost family members. My grand mother was Ulana Stupak, she married Petro Soroka in the early 1800's. they had children, the only one i know name of is my father Iwan Soroka born May 26, 1913, some where in Poland, the town i have is Tereschiwka, Poland. If you know of any family please contact me via this e-mail address.

STUPAK: from stupać - eastern variant of stąpać (to step, walk)

SOROKA: eastern (Russian/Ruthenian) for magpie (bird); Polish - sroka.

The names from the original post, imho, suggest Ukrainian or Ruthenian origins. What religion were they?
But you need to start with figuring out their place of birth. Tereschiwka doesn't sound like a town but rather a village. Also there are no google results for it so most likely it's a misspelling (well it surely is as it doesn't look Polish). It might have been Teresówka but that's just a guess.

Schafranski is a germanised spelling of Szafranski.
