Which part of Poland are you in? Anywhere near Pabianice or Wegrow? I have an old address in regards to Wegrow. As far as Pabianice it is in regards to a cemetary. I can send info through email if interested. Thanks.

I'm looking for surnames Baranowski-Krajewski-Sosnowski from Chuldowo; Owinska; Oborniki; Murowana Goslina; Wagrowiec areas just outside of Poznan, Poland. Some of them immigrated to Chicago, Illinois around 1880's.

Mattias Krajewski married Catherine Konieczna 1847
Children: Hedvigis married Mike Gomolski & came to America 1887 (my great aunt)
Anna Krajewski married Adalbert Sosnowski & came to American (my great grandparents)
other children are Catherina, Josephina, Martinus Krajewski

Martinus Sosnowski married Agnes Baranowski 1851
Children: Catherine, Marianna, Josephina, & Adalbertus Sosnowski (my great grandfather)

I would be so thankful for any information.

ZAWADA, Cegielnia, near to area of Poznan . looking for relatives, decendants of Anton Zawada and Magdalene (nee Horysa)married in 1896 koschmin they had 12 children, our father Stanilslaw born 10 november 1908, brothers and sisters, Frania born early 1900's, died after war possibly 1950. sister Maria also married a man with same surname Zawada, last known address of her is wrobinskiego Dobrzyca woj. kaliskie. Our father did not return to Poland after second world war, he came to Australia . I am looking for help finding the birth certificate of my father. He is about 90 years old and last year received a copy of his birth certificate from Majdan Sopocki. My mother then learned he had a different name than what she knew. My father destroyed the birth certificate because he did not want to tell her about his past. He is now in a nursing home and not in his right mind. My mother is trying to get a copy of the birth certificate but does not know who to contact. My father was born in either 1917, 1918 or 1920.

My grandmother's name was Loretta Yeromin. Her parents were John and Antionette Ciecienski Yeromin.

I see there name coming over on a ship from Plock. However, I cannot find their parents. Is there a different way perhaps to spell the name Yeromin? Could Zeromin or Zaromin be the same as Yeromin? I have their date of birth as 1865, from Lipno, but I cannot find any body in Poland by the last name Yeromin. Is there a different spelling than this?

I am Steven, a Chinese guy, in 1997-1999, I met two girls in New York, they are sisters, I forget their last name, their first names are Sonia & Catherine. We are very good friends. They are very nice and pretty. At them time, Catherine probably was 22-24 old, and Sonia (the younger sister) probably was 19-22 old. They lived in Brookly at that time. We have a common friend, a guy from Haiti.

Yep, it's still around. Population about 20,000. Feels smaller! You can get a bus there from Warsaw Stadion bus station - they're pretty regular (hourly). My wife's ancestral seat on her mother's side (I'm joking, it's a tiny cottage built out of breeze blocks) is in Warcholy, about 6km out of town - we tend to get there once a year.

He had a sister or two and, I believe, a brother.

He moved to Hamilton, Canada after World War II.

hi my grandfather came to england during the second world war and we have never known much about his family. he died shortly after i was born so have no one to ask questions. can u find birth records? his name was juvek polski he had a sister called maria. we think he came from poznan.
