Hi,
My Grandmother came to America on the boat from Poland. She used to send her/our family packages of clothing and goods. I used to be a pen pal to my distant cousin and my
Grandma would translate. She also used to pay to send family members from Poland to America for anywhere from 1 month to 6 months and one time a year. She even had a Doctor and his Doctor Son flown over for a shorter visit (1 week) and tried to marry me off to the Son!
Anyway, I was hoping to get back in touch with some of my relatives over there since my Grandmother died last year. Could you help me? My distant cousin's name is Kazia but on her old letter it says Kazimiera or Kazimieva (not sure which) Sulej. That is her maiden name. She since got married. or maybe that is married name. Again not sure. If you can help me I would sure appreciate it. My name is Janet (Janetko as they say it) Baldwin (maiden) My Grandmother's maiden name was Helene Pucyk Daughter of Stanislaw Pucyk from Warsaw

I am helping a friend with her family history. We would like to get the birth records for her great grandparents who were from Zavada, Poland. Their names were Jozef Zagorska and Katarzyna Ploniaszek. Their daughter is my friend's grandmother. Her name was Ludwika Zagorska born about 1884 in Zavada. I think she had a brother named Jan Zagorska born about 1876.

Ludwika married a Wladyslaw Adamski who may also have been from Zavada. His parents were

Wojceich Adamski and Antonina Puc.

Can you help? Or guide us? Thank you very much!

Barbee, My husband's grandmother was Jadwiga/Ida Tuzinowski, born December 27, 1889. Her husband, Joseph Gosiewski, was born in Grajewo. We do not know what part of Poland she was born in. Was she Camilia's sister?

Hi.

I would appreciate any information or leads on my grandfather and/or grandmother from Poland. My grandfather was FRANK (or Franczisek) KUBACKI and my grandmother before getting married was MARYANNA TILCHINSKA. She was born in 1883 but I do not have the city. My grandfather was probably born in 1888 in Warsaw. They emigrated to Chicago around 1900 but I do not have the exact date. My grandfather died in Chicago in 1947 and my grandmother died in Chicago in 1964.

Thank you very much.
