Stanislaw Paprocki (born 11 October 1899). Shot with 197 other Poles on 17 September 1940 in the Palmiry forest after detention in the Pawiak. I have no info as to charge, date of arrest etc. RIP Stanislaw.

My ancestors who had that name came from Parchanie.

My maiden name is Paprocki. I have lots of relatives in Platte County, Nebraska, lots of Paprockis there. My ancestors came from Tarnow, Poland.

There were Paprocki families in Boulder County, Colorado as well. The 1900 census has a John and Anna Paprocki. They might have been related to my family through marriage.

PAPROCKI: root-word paproć (fern); possibly toponymic from localities such as Paproć, Paprotki, Paprotnia or similar.
