Some people say that polish girl have blonde hair and blue eyes.

but my grandmother has jet black hair and hazel eyes and is 100% polish.

Ive also heard that how you look is dependent upon what part of poland you come from

any truth to that?

I have dark hair and light eyes and very eastern european features. I am a first generation pole in America and although many members of my family have light hair and eyes, I tend to look very eurasian with my almond eyes. I'm not sure if it depends on what part of region of Poland you are from because Poland has a rich history of a mixture of other nationalities. From around eastern Europe. What I find more common in Polish Women is their facial structure rather than hair and eye color. For example many of the Polish women I know have a heart shaped face, very high and prominent cheek bones, and slightly almond shaped eyes.

i think all eastern europeans look alike. not ALIKE as in they all look the same, just that they all have the same features. it doesnt matter if they are polish, russian, slovak, yugoslavian, bulgarian , even albanian they all have that same look.

I have always had this talent for telling where people are from by looking at facial features and bodylanguage.
And you can tell Polish people apart from Russians, bulgarians etc.

I have that ability to some degree also, it all comes to experience gained from travelling places and meeting people. Many have even the slightest tell tail signs which can give it away.

That's untrue. Poles are not like Russians or Bulgarians for example...where did you get that wrong idea ?...

No I dont think so. I guy once told me in England (years ago) that all Polish women either have blonde or black hair and thats not too far from the truth.

I would say Polish women are generally better looking than most other nations.

I have seen a lot of Polish girls, and they are all different...don't know if there's a typical look...maybe there's a recurrent look...don't know... ;)

This is typical slavic look and body.Serbian,czech and slovak girls may have the same body characteristics.The facial look is north slavic.The girls are polish but could pass as czech,serbian or russian.

This is polish-ukrainian look and body.Girls like this can be found all over Poland and in western Ukraine.These girls are from Poznan,western polish city,so they are a little more light coloured and minimum more western looking than western ukrainian girls for people who know the difference.
Eastern german girls do not look like girls in western Poland.However they resemble girls in north-western Czech republic.

My high cheekbones certaintly very prominent. Grandmother and father both Polish. My mother also has prominent cheek bones, but my grandmother, not so.

Grandmother comes from Podkarpickie (Kulaszne) and my grandfather is from Rodzom (Rozen Maly) not sure where that is (South, East, North,West???)

Another great collection of polish looks.Look at the well built thin legs,the nice waist to hip ratio(not big,not small but perfect),the smooth breast line in every girl.Basically the same body type,it cannot become more pleasant to the eye.The face varies keeping the general slavic variant.

You guys are hilarious. I garantee you, that if someone brought out a few russians, and few poles, and few serbians or so, you would not be able to point out which is specifically polish. You just THINK that you can. Maybe some will look different, like bulgarians, sometimes a little turkish. You guys make me laugh!

No Trooper, you make ME laugh. You're an obvious idiot. If you were actually one of the above nationalities, you would be able to tell apart a Russian and a Pole, as long as they had been in the country long for a few generations. Its easy to tell those kinds of things apart, just like a Korean and Japanese guy distinguish each other. God knows I can't tell them apart.

I am eastern slav descent...even 3rd generation in america I look Russian instead of American. in fact, russian descent. porta is correct...people know where my ancestry is from. Also, Ebi is correct. You can tell the difference between a Russian and a Pole. My ancestry is not so long removed that most people think i have immigrated from Russia.Also Polson is correct.

it is uncanny how people from all over the world can see i am of Russian descent

Yes, my Russian friend, it is possible to Slavs apart. Trooper is probably a 5th generation american that only could tell a Chinese person apart from a Black.

Heck if I can tell the difference! I have long calf muscles, long legs, short waist, big bust, wear small clothes (except bust, rofl), and can wear extra small to medium clothes.

I have brown eyes, dark brown almost black hair, wavy like my ancestors' paintings and photos. I played "do I have attributes of my ancestors" Sunday, and my friends could pick sections of the faces and hair that I looked like!

I have noticed that many polish males around the mid 20's onwards seemingly lose their hair on their heads and dont have any at all???

Where it be gone??????

Damn Southern, How many clips have you got? Anyways, typical polish looks seem to be somewhere around thin long legs, and a beautiful face in my opinion aswell.
