I would like to communicate with anyone who is related to my ancestral families. My ancestral families lived in Upper Silesia for many generations. My father was the first of his family to move from Europe to the United States of America. I am the first member of my father's family to have been born in the United States of America. My ancestral family names include: LEPIARCZYK, KANIA, SZYMURA, JAGIEŁKA, GROBORZ, HENNICH, SZUŁA, and NOWAK.

It will be a distinct pleasure to communicate with relatives who live in Upper Silesia or around the world today. My Lepiarczyk ancestral family members live and have lived in the proximities of Rybnik, Zabrze, Gross Rauden (presently Rudy Wiełkie), Stanitz (presently Stanice), and Podbiała. My Kania ancestral family members lived in the proximities of Rybnik and Kleszczów. My Szymura ancestral family members lived in the proximities of Rybnik and Gottartowitz (presently Gotartowice). My Jagiełka ancestral family members lived in the proximity of Pless (presently Pszczyna). May God bless especially all members of my ancestral families always.

I am looking for anyone with the family names of Kay, Hesse, Thomaschewsky, of Lower Selsia. Neusalz, or Rauden. Please help. Around the time of 18th and 19th century or WWII.

LEPIARCZYK: patronymic nick from lepiarz (potter) = Potterson

KANIA: kite (predatory bird species)

SZYMURA: offshoot of Szymon (probably with augmenative shading = big, old Sy)

JAGIEŁKA: millet groats

GROBORZ: dialectic version of grabarz (grave-digger)

HENNICH: from German diminutive of Heinrich = Hank

SZUŁA: archaic/dialectic for wooden fence-post

NOWAK: new guy in town (most popular Polish surname shared by mroe than 200,000 users); compare Czech and Slovak Novakl, English Newman and German Neumann
