I am trying to find lost family members. My grand mother was Ulana Stupak, she married Petro Soroka in the early 1800's. they had children, the only one i know name of is my father Iwan Soroka born May 26, 1913, some where in Poland, the town i have is Tereschiwka, Poland. STUPAK: from stupać - eastern variant of stąpać (to step, walk) SOROKA: eastern (Russian/Ruthenian) for magpie (bird); Polish - sroka.
