My family emigrated to Australia in 1848.

I have records of baptism of daughters in Neukirch, Schonau (now Novy Kosciol and Sweirzawa). How do I get copies of them?

Names of parents were Karl Ehrenfried Foerster and Dorothea Foerster (nee Roehrigt or Roehricht).

I am looking forward to visiting the area in April 2012.

Can anyone help with more information please?

Hi Colleen

This is fantastic. Yes that is my family and we are cousins of some degree. Louisa was my great grandmother too. I look forward to sharing what we know. I will email you.
