Looking for family in poland..My grandpa name Casimier (or other spellings) Szczepanski, he married over there to Wladislawa Osinski Szczepanski and came to the USA. He traveled himself and 1yr later sent for his wife and a little while later her only sister came and her name Mary Osinski. His brother came over too. One Frank that went back to Poland and John that stayed and married a girl. They all loved in St. Louis, Missouri.

My grandparents had Bill(Boleswave, Ann, Adam, Ignatious, Kasmira, Stephanie, Theresa, she was pregnant when he died at 52 with twins but lost them. Over in Poland she lost 3 children at birth or ealier.

We need to know our greatgrand parents names and other family members.

SZCEPAŃSKI: patrornymic nick = Stevenson or topo from Szczepany (Stevensville).

OSIŃSKI: topo from Osina (Aspen).

Szczepanski is rather popular surname in Poland. Tell something more. e.g. year they left the country.

The Dołęga coat of arms was said to have originated during the campaigns of Bolesław Kryzwousty (Boleslaus Wrymouth) against the pagan Prussians. With a well-place shot of his crossbow, a knight named Dołęga killed the enemy commander, sowing panic in the enemy ranks which were easily defeated. In tribute to his feat, the king added an arrow to the knight’s Pobóg coat of arms, replaced the hound with an arrow-pierced wing, signifying the enemy commander’s demise, and renamed it Dołęga. This c-o-a is shared by 298 mostly unrelated and variously surnamed Polish noble families from Babicki to Żeleski.
