Is it possible for me to get polish citizenship on the fact that my grandparents were citizens of Poland and were born in Poland but later moved to Australia and became citizens there.

Then you should be OK (provided that your parents didn't renounce your claim to Polish citizenship before you were 18). Contact your local Polish consultate for details.

there is a company that does "everything" for you in regards to obtaining polish citizenship.

they even charge $100AUD to check the documents to see if it is worth applying.

How can you not know? I mean, the massive logo with "WHITE PRIDE WORLD WIDE" on the top left corner wasn't a big enough clue for you?

There is nothing wrong with a white pride world wide logo its not racist but anyway i didn't even notice it as I was more interested in reading the post about Kaliningrad I only realized it was a neo nazi site after I posted a link on PF.

Stormfront rocks. it is hilarious. I particularly like the holocaust denial section.
They were arguing that Zyclon B was being used as a delousing agent and that it was all a misunderstanding.

the forum is made up of trailer park trash and FBI agents posing as neo Nazis. You can just imagine the FBI in Texas creating a sting operation and catching a bunch of FBI agents from Wyoming posing as neo nazis. it must happen all the time.

Everyone needs to go on Stormfront just to check it out.

No more Stormfront posts.
Thank you.

Czarny - sometimes you have to find sources of information from unlikely places. I mean, I remember reading various wacky theories about history from "learned men" only to find that Dmitri Volkogonov, ex KGB chief archivist, had turned to writing history from actual documentary sources.

So I sort of sympathise with you - not with the mediocrities who go for cheap shots!

@Czarnkow

Shouldn't be a problem provided that your dziadek or babcia didn't renounce their citizenship. It is hard for a pole to renounce their citizenship, as it has to be approved by the Polish president. Also you will have to get your tata or matka (whoever your grandparents child is) to confirm their citizenship if they were not born in Poland themselves. So your father or mother whoever is your grandparents child may also have to confirm their citizenship. Then you can apply to get yours through your parent and with that get a passport etc etc.

Hope that helps.

Merged thread:
Can I obtain a Polish Passport if my grandparents were born in Poland?

Thanks this has been helpful! I have a similar family history: my grandparents were born in Katowice (part of Germany in Uberschelsia), which became part of Poland-I am slightly uncertain of whether they were born in Germany or Poland, but I believe Poland as they were born after 1918. My father was born in Berlin in 1947 and they moved to the US in 1951 and became citizens, my father was naturalized as a citizen.

Do I have a shot at getting a Polish passport?

Thanks for any help!!! I read the previous thread on this topic, but I'd like to see if anyone has incite on this particular issue.

You may do, but it depends on the precise circumstances. It may actually be possible that you're entitled to a German, not Polish passport - but.

Can you tell me -

Were your grandparents ethnically Polish or German?
When did they move to Germany?
When did your father obtain American citizenship?
