ColdSteel: But seriously, it's obvious ethnic groups were mixing both officially and unofficially. Also, another thing to consider is that during WWII Jews with 'Arian look' were more likely to survive. They could get fake documents and pretend they're non-Jewish Poles, while people with 'bad look' had to be hidden from Germans in order to survive. I wonder if it influenced overall look of Polish Jew population.
We sometimes hear in the media stories about Poles who discover that they are part Jewish.
But there are just as many if not more stories about Jews who have part European/Polish ancestry in them since there naturally were many more Poles then Jews in Poland. We don't hear these stories in the media since the media doesn't want to present them.
Jews by definition are a Semitic/Mid East people and that's why at least half of them look Semitic/Mid Eastern. The Jews who look more "Aryan"/European do so because they have some ethnic European/Polish blood in them.
