Looking for Beschorner/Berszoner and Hoppe Relatives

My great-grandfather was Ferdynand Beschorner; great-grandmother Zuzanna Hoppe (lived in Poland). My grandmother was Pauline Beschorner; grandfather unknown, and my father, Bronislaw Berszoner was the product of Pauline and the unknown man. My grandmother immigrated from Poland to Germany and ended up either living with/marrying a man with the last name of Wegner.

I am looking for possible Beschorner/Berszoner relatives familiar with the above names, and relatives with information about the man with the last name of "Wegner". If anyone can help, please contact me at r_winiarski@comcast.net.

BESCHORNER: Probably from German/Yiddish verb bescheren (to shear, shave); possibly originated as a nick to indicate someone who had shaved of his facial hair.

Merged: Looking for Beschorner/Berszoner, Burski Family Members

I'm conducting research on my family tree. My paternal side is Beschorner/Berszoner (I've seen it spelled both ways). My father lived in Lodz, Poland, then his family immigrated to Germany landing in Wilhemshaven after WWII. My maternal side is Burski. My mother and her family lived in Lodz also. My parents met in England during WWII and immigrated to the US in the 1950s. If any of these surnames sound familiar to you, please contact me.

Thanks!

Biiene,

My great grandparents (Ferdynand and Sussana (Hoppe) Beschorner)'s parents were Jozef Beschorner and Julianne Tietz/Titz, and Wilhelm Hoppe and Justine/Justyna Reich. My grandmother was Pauline Beschorner and her sister was named Ida. Research shows that the majority of my Beschorner relatives (sometimes spelled Beszoner or Besoner) lived in Lodz, Poland. Sussana was born in either Oskerow or Kwilno Poland.

Anything sound familiar to you?
