I live in Turkey and I'm a Tatar Turk. I see a TV program about Polish Tatars. I search Polish Tatar communication platform for reached this persons. (Web sites, e-mail and more)

I think I worked with one for a couple of days. It suprised me when he said he was Polish because he just didn't look it. A few swear-words later, I was left in little doubt as to his Polishness.

My ancestors were Polish Royalty Tatars.
That explains my love for horses. :)

Merged: Polish surnames of Tatar origin

Could anyone list Polish surnames of Tatar origin? Also, could Bernatowicz be one? Not all of the people with the name, but the name in general. I was told that it could be of Tatar, Ukrainian, Armenian, Hungarian, Slovak, Silesian, Czech and German origin (depending on place of family origin).
