I'm trying to find my old friends who used @poczta.onet.pl email

Hi,
I'm new to this forum. Please forgive me if I've posted in the wrong section.
My wife and I received a Christmas card form very dear friends in Ploand. They hand wrote their e-mail address for us to contact them. It is xxxxxxx@poczta.onet.pl I have tried with no success to reach them with this address. Does anyone recognize this format?? Maybe I have used a wrong letter?? I have obviosly done something wrong as I get back a message that the address used is incorrect.

poczta.onet.pl exists, so the name must be misspelled or their account expired.

I think my e-mail is being detected as "SPAM" and not delivered. I just opened up a "Yahoo Mail" account and tried to send it that way. So far it has not been kicked back at me. Maybe something with spam filters?? I'm not sure. I'll let you know how it works out for me. I hope I hear from my friends now. Thank you for your help.

Yahoo mail accounts are obviously considered a source of spam by poczta.onet.pl and are therefore blocked. Get a "real" e-mail address and try again.

Sounds like their original acct was considered spam and the yahoo acct is working. BTW, what do you consider a "real" email address?

Oh, you're right - sorry, I misread. Thanks for pointing that out. A "real" address for me is one that doesn't come from gmail or similar free services. With the latter there's always a good chance that some sysop is blocking their whole domain instead of one sender or a certain range of IP's.

Firstly it is very possible that anna gebauer lives in Poland, in place which you made public.
Please don't do that again, and just write a letter like any other person in your place would do.

first off all i first looked up her adress by streetview and i dont find it cause there are to many possibilities im not sure about the streetname os or osiedle? however whats the problem by telling her name here otherwise its impossible to find her im just looking for somebody to verify her adress so then i could right her a lettre however i have been surching everywhere facebook and many others also.its been more then 10 years ago can you help me looking for here or just give me some tips to find her if i right to her now with that adress my lettre will never arive i think thx

she must be know about between 28 or 32 i already looked on facebook but none off those persons are looking like her even with anoyher haircoulure if i was sure about her adress i would drive all the way to katowice but now its impossible to start searching

regarding facebook those 8 persons you have found do they all come from poland?

i only checked the basics. some of them list germany. people move about, which is something u should consider.

There is a popular social networking site called "Nasza Klasa" (nk) - it's similar to Facebook, but in Polish.
You will need to register to search for users there (most people use own name and surname to set up a profile)

I send out a separate email to 6 members of my family from a different emails and I have received the same reply as above. They all use .onet pl.

I used 3 different email addresses - all the same result as above.
I only experienced this since Friday 18.09.15 before it was working fine

This is exactly what appeared in the message? (spambl2 - I can't recognise what it is - maybe some kind of spam block)
I think you blocked poczta.onet.pl somewhere. Try a different browser / disable the antivirus or an other similar application and check again.

Maybe register yourself at poczta.onet.pl and send the e-mail from there.

It seems that this server has a hypersensitive anti-spam filter and it blocks messages in English from American servers considering them to be spam. No idea why.

Sending an e-mail from a Polish mail account would be a good idea.
