Hello! Can somebody tell me what these abbreviations mean: t.z.w. wne rys. r.n.e. ark wyd kl. I trip over them frequently everywhere, but haven't found in dictionaries. I hope they have something meaning...

t.z.w. - tak zwane - so called rys. - rysunek - drawing or illustration ark. - arkusz - sheet wyd. - wydawnictwo - publisher kl. - klasa - class (as in classification in botany, species, etc) Not sure of the other ones

1jola: t.z.w should be tzw. r.n.e. - roku naszej ery - year AC (after Christ) p.n.e. - przed naszą erą - BC kl. - klasa - school class (not room but year) wne - have no idea, but might be "w.n.e." - wieku naszej ery - century AC

Leonis: jw. jak wyżej I think in english it is 'as above' 'ditto'
