helpful: very helpful! LOL

pgtx, aphro: thanks.
It's a part of an invitation to come for a visit to Poland. I wanted to make sure it didn't involve huffing carbon monoxide or something.

I'll probably be visiting Warszawę, Wrocław, Lubliń and Zakopane. Now, plan is coming together rather quickly. I need to be in Lubliń at the beginning of July. Ironically, it seems that I have good connections in all except my native city, Warsaw.

well, enjoy you visit and I am sure you will be able to find some connections in Warsaw too. Take lots of money, Poland is expensive and there will be so many things you would want to buy. There is some really interesting art btw, so keep an eye on that.

Thanks. I always keep and eye out for art. If not to buy, at least for inspiration.
So, it turns out that my cousin is in some gypsy folk band. She's a classically trained violinist, that cought the gypsy bug. Awards and all. That's the Lubliń connection. I hate to admit it, but I think that would be a great photo opp. On the other hand, do I lug $5K of camera equipment in my backpack?
I'm making these arrangements in secret, because I really don't want to take anyone with me. Poeple that would want to go, when on vacation, all they want to do is party. And they're no spring chickens, either, and on top of that, they don't handle their alcohol well.
