You're good at English phonetics for Polish! It must look very weird to native speakers though!
Alexander  May 8, 09, 10:29    #37
Hmm, wonder if any native Polish speakers are still around... I have a problem you see... I am very creative with language and write poetry in English, but I know no polish whatsoever and their is a very beautiful female Genetics major who happens to be polish I am trying to win over. Humor seems to be the best way to do this and I need to translate something creative... here are some phrases I would LOVE if someone could translate into comprehensive versions in Polish... also, any chance you could include or spell it as it is pronounced as I will be speaking it to her?

“Your legs must be tired because you’ve been running through my mind all day.

“Did the sun come out or did you just smile?”

Excuse me, do you have your phone number, I seem to have lost mine.

"I'm on top of things. Would you like to be one of them?"

this one is probobly pretty difficult, but I came up with it myself just for the occasion...

The Icecaps are melting, College Tuition is skyrocketing and excessive amounts of work make jack a dull boy and Victoria a tired girl. So, unless you have a massive Zeus man on your event horizon, I would love to spice up your life with a free cup of coffee, some random conversation and perhaps Whipped Cream and handcuffs later if all goes well, what do you say?

know that in helping me in this endeavor, you are potentially changing a life, helping a college student get laid and uniting a future couple. Thanks!

It's the superlative form of piękna. So, it means "the most beautiful".

Edit: too late again... hehe.

maybe im wrong too? but where is LITTLE in this sentence MOJA (my) KOCHANA (sweetheart) cipko (*****)

Cipka is the diminutive of cipa, so the "little" part is enclosed within the word cipka itself.

Only Polish (or some other Slavic languages) could make something so rude, sound so cute ;)

Just remember, that you must NEVER call a man a "chujeczek" hahahahahahaha :)

A friend has been dating a girl from Poland. She taught him many Polish words/phrases. One word/phrases that she taught him sounds like "kot tune ya". My friend has been told by others that the word/phrase should not be used to describe a man. His girl friend says that is wrong and it can be used as an endearment to a man or woman.

Hopefully I got the phonetics correct. What exactly does this phrase mean and who is correct? Can it be appropriately applied to a woman and a man?

"kot tune ya"

kotuniu - means kitty in vocative
kot- kotek- koteczek- kotunia
Froggy:

more likely to women, but I can see it being applied to both. There are many endearment forms in Polish and I remember this particular shop clerk who used to say:

Kochaniutka - the beloved one, but within the context I knew that she was just being nice
king polkagamon  Mar 23, 10, 00:11    #56
I would tell her:Kochanie jestes tak slodka i mila.Chialalbym byc zawsze k tobie.Jestes najlutsej dziewczyna bardzo ukochana i ulobiona.Jestes cudowna skarbie.Kotku chie tobie celawac i obnejmac.Jestes moje zloto.Muj srdiczko pada dla tobie kotku.
