The Plural of Zloty?

What is the plural of Zloty?

Zloty, Zloties, Zlotys.... or something completely different.

I'm writing an article in English, but want to get it right.

z這tych, but it depends on the number in the same way as lat/lata for years. you might want the advice of someone Polish!

Hmm... ok, what about if I were writing in English "I need to exchange a bunch of zlotys"?

To use the word in English (I'm backtracking now), I'd stick to using the singular for all numbers:

1 Zloty, 2 Zloty...
1 Euro, 2 Euro...
1 Quid, 2 Quid...
etc.

in Polish its Z這te and Z這tych

use Z這te with 2, 3 and 4 and then 22, 23, 24... 102, 103, 104... etc. as long as the number ends with 2, 3 or 4

use Z這tych with 0, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11-21, 25-31, 35-41... etc. as long as the number ends with zero, one, and then 5-9 etc.

that forms change endings when used in different cases

Surely this only scrapes the surface. As soon as you say you have some z這ty or don't have, or thanks to the z這ty (how many), my brain will start hurting again.

I am writing a feature in English, and need to mention <insert name of the Polish currency>

Just put down Zloty or PLN (the currency code of Polish Zloty)

Cheers guys - normally, when I am writing factual stuff, I include PLN (but does one write PLN 200 or 200PLN... nooooo, that's another question for another day).

This is a kind of "and finally" type piece in a wider feature about Poland... written fairly coloquially, if you see what I mean.

I know it's called genitive, but in these number examples, I prefer to think of there being:

singular
plural
funny plural

One aardvark
Two aardvarks
Five of-aardvark
