Hi,

I have a question on how long it will take for me to get the b1 Polish certificate. I already have knowledge of the all the grammar but now I have to focus more on vocabulary and speaking. I already know some Polish and I am not a beginner... so how hard is the b1 test... what do they test you on... and how long do you think it will take me if I really worked on learning this Summer?

Thank you

I have noticed in the past that a lot of people from Poland have a hard time understanding black people. I believe B1 test should be ran by a bunch of homies. That would be a true test. LMAO. I'm just joking, really.

If you don't mind me asking how much can you make after getting the B1 certificate?

Would it be better to learn engilsh just good enough and then learn something useful? Like a nursing degree? Did you know that you can make from $60K up to $120K a year as a nurse in England or the US... (edit: Canada as well....) Think about it. English = just a means to communicate. Everyone knows it. Don't waste your life away.

Why do you feel the need to talk about things you clearly know nothing about? A Nurse will make between US$35,000 and US$45,000 per year. An Advanced Nurse in the UK will make between US$50,000 and US$65,000 per year.

You can see how close you are to passing by doing the practice test online:

http://certyfikatpolski.pl/

I'll be taking the exam in a couple of months (and will hopefully pass, though it's no sure thing), I've been studying Polish for about a year and a half. There is one book which is designed for those planning on taking the exam:

B±d¼ na B1

I don't know of any really good level check tests to see how close you are to B1, but if for example you've finished the first 2 Hurra po polsku books, you should be pretty close.
Hope that helps!
