Can anyone tell me where I could learn Polish for free ? I'm 1/4 Polish and I'm really interested in learning the Polish language. My friends think I'm really weird but I don't think so!!

gdy sie czlowiek spieszy diabel sie cieszy = when a person is in a hurry the devil is happy

someone taught me a polish aying about eyes...having them closed, or open, something about wanting what u see....or not alive with closed yes....or...i just dont remember it....does anyone know it????

I think it's an insult.

It can also be used to express astonishment, disbelief.

With 1/4 Polish background you can only get a 25% discount ;-)

Hey guys:) can anyone tell me what the word "ciumek" means? i think it's slang cause i can't really find it in any dictionary or translator .

"ciumek" is an informal word which derives from "ciumkac", It means to kiss or to produce kissing sound. Ciumek would then mean a person who kisses or is kissed, and it is likely an endearing term , except when context may clearly indicate otherwise, or in some slang expressions such as "ciumkać bigosa" (to masturbate)

To all !!!

The Hyman Pinckus school of proper polish it taking applications for the winter semester.
Whew my polish wife has told me a lot of the spellings and wordings leave much to be desired (but all poked in fun). Who you ask am I to comment on such a terribly important situtation? I am Polish through injection!!!! Nas droWOWie!!! (and if it is spelled wrong- have another drink!!!!!!!!).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think "O co chodzi?" means "What does that refer to?" or, "How do you mean that?"
