if you say each of the phrases quickly, they resemble some common (as common as swearing goes, anyway) Polish curses. Is that what you didn't get?

Nah, couple of pints with me and you’ll cuss like a native in no time.

You have to admit, it gives it that foreign accent.
I still don't get the "scotch me", and I consider myself a somewhat accomplished Polish swearer.
