Getting married with a Polish Citizen in the UK

Stick with the issue of why a person should discourage marring a Polish Citizen. if she were in America, that would be fine but with 53 % of all marriage ending in divorce and Poland refusing to follow treaties that were written to protect children, I would not encourage it. There is no rule of law in Poland. it's a joke the way they administer justice, the Judges are clowns, it's all a circus.

I am here for the first time and its nice to see a Polish forum. It was quite interesting for me to read all the messages and some of my friends r quite wrong ( as far as I know ) about a Polish girl marrying a Pakistani boy. I am a Pakistani myself and am married to a Polish girl. She is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life, I met her on internet while I was in Pakistan and then I came to UK ( where I am now ) and then went to Poland to meet her, I went there back a couple of times and then we got married in Poland. It was the happiest day of my life. Now I can guess some of my Polish friends think I have married her for EU citizenship ? or just for sex ? but none of them is true.
we both plan to go to Saudi Arabia in a few years time so I won't need to become an EU citizen for that, and neither for sex coz she is still living in Poland while I am here in UK. and by the way, when a couple is married, sex becomes their personal matter so y should we comment on it ? none of our families r approving our marriage, my parents went against it coz they couldn't see me marrying a girl from the West and her parents weren't approving coz I am a Muslim. but we both loved each other and we didn't listen to anyone nor did bother about religion, culture, language, color or anything else.
Its quite true that some of Pakistanis here in Europe would try to marry a european girl for immigration purposes but thats not true about all of them. I personally love Poland and Polish people, I find them the friendliest people in europe and so do my other friends ( none of them has a polish wife or girl-friend ). All I have got from Poland and polish people, even strangers is love, ( except my mum-in-law, the only Pole who hates me ! ) I have more Polish friends than Pakistanis.
one of my friend came with some very interesting reasons for why do polish girls marry pakistani guys , well I am not rich, my wife is the most beautiful girl in the world, she rejected many polish boys' proposals to be with me, she doesn't like curry coz its too spicy for her ( I love peirogi though but only from peirogarnia in the old city in Warsaw ).
and in response to SHORTY who says 90% of Pakistanis in UK r pervert and muslims and they abuse Polish women, 99.99999 percent of Pakistanis in UK r muslims and don't know what definition does she have for 'pervert', so I would like if he/she makes it clear a bit and as I said, all the Pakistanis I know in UK love and respect Polish people because they r friendly, they r not racists, they r not colorists, they r very hard-working, very welcoming, friends-in-need, and very sincere and of course girls r very beautiful !
so SHORTY should better re-think I will be thankful.
I want to request all my friends ( especially polish ) not to get into useless debates and don't make comments which wouldn't have a sense otherwise in reality. Lets be friends and smile at each other !

Let me tell, you the truth...............In the early 1200 BC....there was only 3 civilizations which existed.
India was concentrated near River Ganges which has the best fertile soil and regular supply of water. The native were known as Dravidian (dark skinned people) . Later ARYANS were from the europe and they were nomads. They came to India and settle and establish their identity there.

We Indians are a mixture of Dravidians and Aryans (brown coloured). They are still many fair colored people living in india (lot of them are high society , high caste) like Bollywood stars which still look like european.

Hence the story says that We all got a bit of european genes in us. So why this hatred among different countries.
When the god has made the similar colour of blood in each of us so why theres a seperation in terms of Indian, europeans, americans, etc.

I just want to tell you that as long you respect a girl and truly love someone, theres no wrong in getting married whether it belongs to your country or some different country.

I am strongly against using a girl for Passport , or citizen. I also got a polish girlfriend and she is a Doctor (completed Phd) and quite intelligent and I also belong to a respected family and have completed my MBA (masters of business Administration).
I never forced her to marry me and i dont want a citizenship of poland country as well. I know i am capable of getting a HSMP in UK leading to permanent citizen after 4 years so why marry someone and stay in that country for 2-3 years doing nothing and just waiting for a citizen or passport.

If you compare Poland and India economy, India ecomomy is quite strong and will take over the combined economy of UK, Germany and France in the next 7-8 years. This could be done better but the problem is with the dirty polictics and inefficient administration government staff.

After my exams, I will be writing a book "How a developing country can be developed in next 5-10 years". We are self sufficient and got all the resources.

ITs internal problem that all the about 80% of the ministers are illitrate because of the never changing constitution wriiten about 60 years back after independence. But I am sure 1 day, people will come to India for work as they will be highly paid than their home country.

We were never destroyed in the world war 2, all our bulidings are still intact and we are a peace loving country. If you destroy us, we are capable of destroying You.....So both loose in this case.

The fact is that , Half of the NASA scientists are indian, Most of the UK ...GP are Indian.

India is a rich country with poor people because the wealth lies in the hands of few people. We dont boycott Foreign goods but instead take over foreign companies.......You would have already got examples of TATA buying CORUS steel. MITTAL buying Arcelor.

The problem (differentiation in thoughts) is : We indians respect virginity (as it says in the religious book, sex after marriage and lot of people will agree to it. This is also in Chritianity, if you think yourself a pure catholic ). We want to life with our family together and think marraige is a life long relationship and it only ends after your death.

In europe, the traditional thinking has vanished. If a girl turns 16, she wants to explore sex and general mentality is that If you are a virgin that means you are not attractive and not beautiful. Only After crossing 25 you realise your mistakes.

Why there is a lot of problem in the west for old people living in oldage homes .......the reason is that you are left alone when you really want your partner to be with you.

Beautiful or youngness stays only for a short time and during this period you will find lots of intersting people(men) but once this youngness leaves you after a few years , you find yourself alone and lost in this world.

So my advice, Dont go for fun and sex as it is only for a short time...........Instead go for a strong relationship and be together till the end of your life.......this is a key to happiness.

We dont celebrate when the couple stays together for lifetime as it is celebrated in the west. Problems is common .......its like high and tow tides ....its a rule of nature so instead of getting separated or divorced , try to resolve the issue by mutual understanding.

I hope i have left my message as what i wanted to say. In short, we are all one and belongs to same origin ...so respect everyone and yes for God sake....dont use a girl for your self benefit (passport or citizen) as you will be never happy in your life as these benefits are only for a short term.

Dont think that Asians are marrying Polish to get citizenship of Poland. If we want , we have lot of community in Uk and America who are well settled. In fact, its not a problem for me to get married easily to a UK citizenship (asians) or American citizenship (asians) as I know that if i get married to a Uk citizen or US citizen , it is very easy and fast to get Citizenship of these country and sooner than Poland citizneship. In Uk, it just takes 2 years to get a passport and in US , it just take 1 week to get a Green card adn possibly passport after 2 years. We are not fools to marry a polish girls just for the sake of Passport. In india, the average salary of a MBA graduate is £1000 permonth plus a flat and a car free of cost. I know that the polish salary is not attractive and it is just the same as Indian salaries.
My girlfriend after studing masters and completing Phd in physics and she is a lecturer in university just gets a salary of £200 permonth which is nothing if you see the cost of living in poland and also in india a junior lecturer gets a salary of £250 per month + benefits and the relative cost of living is generally lower than poland.

So forget that we all marry to polish citizens (girls) just to get a poland passport. We indians get free visa to come to poland (no fees) and the decision time of the Polish consulate is just within a week time.

The poland economic is not that strong that all just wanted to marry a polish girl.
Yes its true, that eatern european girls (polish) girls are beautiful , caring and traditional . My girlfriend cooks food for me, cleans the house inspite of being a PHD and lecturer and these qualities are similar to an indian woman . This is what i fell for and not the passport. I also help her as i know my responsibility and duties towards her.

She knows that I am not behind her passport as I am not a fool to get settle in Poland leaving UK. Its all about understanding and being together to settle and create a lovely small family and be together.

And Yes, one more thing, The English are not happy and hate immigrants but just let me tell them as well that The UK's economy is just running on Immigrants as they dont take any benefits and contribute substantial amount to the Tax office. Uk government is not doing any favour to us as we pay to them.

As every one knows that each taxpayer assists a UK citizen who is unempoyed. Each of us supports one british national so that he gets the benefits from the government.

Let me also clear that Each indians who comes to UK, have to show a property (fixed) of atleast £20,000 and a liquid cash in bank which should be atleast £15000 and also pays our fees in full (generally £12,000 for year)to get a UK visa so let me clarify that we are not poor as they think.

The UK governement charges us the highest amount of fees to study here and from this excess amount pay for their local students (for their studies) and now also europe. So conclusion is that Each immigrants pays fees which goes for the payment of studies of for the local students and also european students.

The British are not at all happy about immigrantion but let me remind them about their history. They were the first people to got out from their home country and started invading other countries for their own benefits.
In India, they ruled for 100 years and its more than enough duration to ripp off the entire economy of that country..........also France did the same .

And now when we come to their country (not for free ) , than whats the problem...........

The country itself dont produce anything but rely on other countries for their consumption. Education is the biggest exports ..........and nothing else. Oh there one more thing for exports and that is Arms and ammunition which are sold at high prices to the developing countries and in return gets mineral oils, foods, etc.

SO my friends, dont unnecessary debate on the citizenship and passports......I would suggest everyone in this forum to read and explore their history before making any remarks..........History is there to teach you from your mistakes.

I am not offending anyone but truth is bitter...........Its a global world today and living separately doesnt make any sense. If We need you, you also need us.

i think that what most of the Asians do in UK try to get a citizenship of EU. and thus give a bad name to their Asian people.

Let me also Clarify .........Dont Call Indians as Asians.

Alex , im from SA and im not Cathlic and for me to get married here in Poland was a nightmare really !!! I hope you are Cathlic or you have certificates from you Church because the priest will ask you !! And your permit will take like 2 months and everything is slow ! Oh , remember the Poles do business differently and its hard here man !, i couldnt even open a bank acount until i had my permit , i was pissed ! Good Luck !
