Muslims should be better controlled, not punished only for being Muslims, but controlled. Of course that won't happen as that would be "racism".

Well from what I read they believe the attacks in london were to do with Brown. I do remember reading that there was something happening in Scotland on the saturday or the day before. I thnk the parliment was getting together for some reason. Im trying to find where i read it but have had no luck as yet.

I heard there was a suspicious looking car found in Liverpool airport- apparently it had a valid tax disc and all four hub caps !

Jeep crashes into building - gas canisters exploding - Jeep doused in Gasoline, aflame - two terrorists emerge ready to fight to the death...........
What would you do?
Run as fast as you could in the opposite direction ?

Not anywhere in Britain.

I definately wouldnt be scared of fighting a man who was almost rolling on the floor on fire.

I laughed when they interviewed an eyewitness, who said he thought the commotion was 2 taxi drivers having a fight

Seven of the terrorist suspects are Doctors working in an NHS Hospital and another one a Lab Technician (all the same hospital) Quite worrying i think.

It is worrying because there are nearly 2000 NHS staff from Iraq and there are currently no security checks performed on them.

I didn't know it was such a high number ukinpoland. But I did read the ones that are in custody did go through the full BMA check. Like er did they have any qualifications etc.

Thing is one of the fathers of a trainee surgeon, said I cannot believe this is true of my son. they will find it is a mistake. Yet there's strong evidence against his son :(

Do you think they get brainwashed ?

Yes I do. I also think that the worst people are the preachers who try and convert people and tell them this is what their god wants. I suppose it would be best to go to the root of the problem but it seems it doesnt matter who they arrest there is alwas someone else willing to step in to fill the role.

Have you ever looked at their eyes, they appear to be vacant and not really looking anywhere. I cannot understand how they can carry out suicide attacks when they have a wife and family. And a Doctor too. One who is trained to save lives. They lead double lives for a period of time. They have, in my opinion to have had to be brain washed. It doesn't appear that rational to me. I know they are fanatical about their faith but some of these alleged terrorists are so intelligent. Does make you wonder what on earth is happening ?

Thats the worrying thing, that there are many who will step into their shoes.........

The scariest thing. If they were to plan something with a virus think how quickly it would spread.

True, But I don't think they are that sophisticated YET !

But the public have been subjected to different germs by so called friendly super powers since the 1950's. supposed to be outlawed now but evidence is emerging that, this is not the case. The idea apparently is to see how they can win wars without having to fight the enemy, just a way of ensuring that the enemy cannot physically fight back.

Hypocritical or what ?

Makes you think doesn't it ?

Im not so sure they dont have things like this already, or at least be able to get them. I think they know though that if they were to go through with something like that on a large scale then it wouldnt be long before nuclear attacks became very very close to happening.

Debatable isn't it ? If they had it (which I don't believe they do yet) Would they use it ? Because if they used it it would kill off a lot of their own people as well. Unless they had a vaccine to give them but then they would not be able to innoculate all their people across the Globe. But would they then be classed as martyr's ?

I think you are right. There is a mich bigger threat and that is with the threat of Nuclear attacks from Iran and maybe North Korea in the future. Sad world isn't it that we cannot live in Peace.

Too many assumptions...
fact: 911 bombers mainly Saudi + an Egyptian
fact: Bin Laden is Saudi
fact: no weapons of mass destruction
fact: Saddam put in power by US to overthrow Shah
Iran is one of the few countries where Christians had freedom of worship and no discrimination - just suffering under lunatic dictator, pressure from Iran and UN sanctions.

The West has two choices - seek out 911 bombers and their supporters or blast an easy target "back to the stone age". - Ooh lets try out our clever weapons on civilians that can't fight back.

With the amount of Iraqis dying every day, I wouldn't blame them at all for trying to kill a few Brits or Americans - The Jews didn't gain Israel by negotiation in 1947.

I have worked and socialised with Saudis, Iranians, Iraqis, Syrians, Lebanese, Egyptians, Libyans and Moroccans and guess what? They are just like us. They want a good life, employment, accommodation and health care - not Martyrdom.

How many hospitals have we built in Iraq? how many schools? how much employment have we created there? Alll we have done is screwed up the remains of their oil industry.

Why shouldn't Iran and North Korea have nuclear power - their next door neighbours have in both cases.

Are we seriously suggesting that only the west can be trusted with the big red M.A.D button? It is the peace loving weapons producing West that has filled Africa with land mines and automatic weapons.
By now, some of you will be saying "it wasn't me"; just look up where Kalshnikovs and Semtex are actually made.

My point? We in the West have blood on our hands and are not doing much to put things right, so if someone decides to bring things to the attention of a new prime minister, I understand their aims even if I disagree with their methods.

As you celebrate independence, remember how it was achieved.

And they are still being manufactured and sold to Third world countries.
Mines and guns aren't "government surplus stock" from some scrapyard, they are being manufactured right now - maybe even using Finnish steel, for arms dealers and governments to sell to corrupt administrations.
This isn't history, it is current affairs.
