Hello,

I'm a 29 year old Australian living in Sydney, my mother is Polish, and I came across this site whilst looking for general information on the property market in Poland as I need to sell a family property. On another note I am wanting to learn more about Polish culture and Polish history to get more in touch with my roots. I have been reading a lot lot about the Polish Resistance during WWII and I am very proud of the way the Poles stood their ground.

I am really glad to have found this fantastic resource and online community.

you are right, Victoria has the highest population of Poles:

I did a bit of web-surfing on Poles in OZ. There are several large Polish communities in Melbourne, Victoria but as far as Sydney goes the main community is centered around the suburb of Ashfield but that may be mainly more the older generation.

Youre from Sydney...hmm,that makes us neighbours.I'm from Singapore lol
Anyway,it sounds like we're looking for the same thing too.I'm interested in Polish but I find that their language is really difficult to learn..gosh..do you speak Polish??
