I'm going to Krakow!

Finally it's time to go back. I moved to Chicago when I was 9 and never been back. Now at 27, it's time to visit the motherland :)

I will be down in mid/late July... I'm gonna be staying at my grandmas home in Krakow. If anyone here wants to get togather sometime, hit me up. I will be there for atleast 2 weeks but hopefully a full month, got a lot of catching up to do :D

Time to smooth out my polish I guess lol


Plan on visiting Zakopane/Nowy Targ, Gdansk, Katowice, Kielce, and Gdansk. Extended families I have not seen since I was a little boy :) I'm not sure if Warsaw is worth going to but I might have to check out the capitol. Although I really want to dedicate my whole trip to Zakopane and Krakow. I was born in Nowy Targ but moved to Krakow at 4 and lived there until I moved. I have pretty vivid memories of my childhood.

Goonie - Can I ask how you plan on traveling from Krakow to Gdansk?

My aunt has a car and we will be riding with her to visit family. Not sure of the details though. Only thing I know for sure is that I'm flying LOT from Chicago to Krakow :)

I flew LOT from JFK to WAW last summer - It was definitely an experience =/ I would like to go this summer just to stay away from the Euro!

When you are in krakow dont forget to visit all the Clubs over there. krakow has aloot of bars/clubs that is worth visiting and ALOOOOT of horny girls that would crowd around you just when they hear you speak english, belive me "Been there, done that"

In my case it worked well, i was 18 last summer so i had no probs to find some hot stuff. i dont blame the polish girls i can actualy understand them for turning on in English speaking guys. They just want the taste of a foriginer instead of a booring Polish guy who they are used to see like every day/hour/sec.

And no i didnt need to visit a brothel to have the girls crowd around me in the club, maybe in your case "isthatu2" it would be needed :P. The only thing i paid for was the cab.
