It's becoming more and more popular although relative to most other countries the sport is still in its infancy here. There are about ten 18 hole courses in the whole of Poland, a new one was announced last week to be built near Konstancin south of Warsaw.

Oh I don't know. I remember a round in Canada once where I visited a few woods and had to run screaming from Elk and Black Bears. The kids thought it was great sport.

oh, Szar, why all those things happen to you:)???? not me.

On the serius note I would play because i like the green grass and the vast spaces. It could be physical too IMO.

Aww you know me.... a bit of poetic license. The bears were about 100 metres away and the Elk was more scared than me.

Back on topic - I used to play at the First Warsaw Golf & Country Club. Average course with loads of biting insects I recall. The vast majority of the members appeared to be Korean but there were some very good Polish golfers there too.

The weather must be improving there or this thread woud be bare. The courses here are to wet. There are at least 15 within 20 minutes of me alone. There are 470 golf courses in the state of Indiana .

Lucky . It has been abnormally wet here as of late. There is golf occasionally through the winter where they set up greens on the fairways. The season has not started as it should have here. Just to wet.
