Good News - I start on a Polish course on Tuesday.

I start on a Polish course on Tuesday. Just found it by chance. So at last i'll be learning it properly. :-)

where is it lisa? the only one Ive found is £200 a term and I dont wanna pay that.. I feel i could do with some proper grammar. the only polish I know (as taught by the bf) is not suitable for polite society.

It's in Yeovil Somerset. The man i spoke to says they started it last November because the Police, local business and some public came forward wanting to learn. There are only about 8 on the course at the moment. It's just a turn up and start learning thing no set weeks. They are trying to promote a unity thing between the locals and the Polish community.

You never know though, the Polish class is right next to the English class so i still might meet someone. :-D

we started with about 20 on the course on thursday evenings at doncaster college number went down to approx 8 on a regular basis attend the course now!

one of the people on my polish course actually teaches english to polish students at the college but its in a different part of the building and not at same time as the polish course runs

hi i am learning polish of my work collegues. i think its great. i have learned loads of words but i cant say them all. i prefere to write them down.bit strange i no. haha
does anyone have any tips on improving my speech when talking polish? thanks

hi scottish chick,
i have been using a polish phrase book. it has been very helpful to me. also polish night school helps a lot.
