I've been using Google Translate to look spelling and pronunciation of words, translated from English to Polish. The website has been helpful for me. Does anyone know if the Polish pronunciations given are on an accurate level? Thanks!

I don't think it would be anywhere near as good as a human, but if you use the Polish letters, then it should be accurate enough to work out a high percentage of text. Some words it just can't master.

its quite good for translating single words, but if you try to translate more complex sentences then results probably wont be accurate :)

i`ve found with google translate when i translate from english to polish, i then translate again from polish to english, that way if it reads wrong i can change how ive written my sentences.
its very interesting how when you write something it sometimes then translates into something completely different.

It thinks that zupa means Gippo lol :)

Everyone knows that Poles don't like Gypsies, but... lmao :)

It seems quite good, but it's useless at changing words like ziemniaki to e.g. ziemniakami when it's necessary to do so. Even if it gets the grammar completely wrong, it's still close enough to help someone who doesn't know the language.

I know what you mean. People tend to laugh, when I say words incorrectly in Polish.

Polish pronunciations

ivona.com is the best for Polish pronunciations. Choose voice Ewa.

Don't trust the Google Translator, especially not if you are a beginner.
