Great Britain, or the UK is made up of the following countries

England
Scotland
Wales
Northern Island.

The following islands / territories are English owned and thus are considered part of the UK or "oversees territories". Most of them are accesable to british citizens:

Isle of Mann
Anguilla
British Antarctic Territory
Bermuda
British Indian Ocean Territory
British Virgin Islands
Cayman Islands
Channel Islands
Falkland Islands
Gibraltar
Montserrat
St Helena and Dependencies (Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha)
Turk and Caicos Islands
Pitcairn Island
South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands
Sovereign Base Areas on Cyprus.

The proper full title of our country is:

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Any more help and i'd be doing it all for you.

Fear not, within a few years the Union will be no more and there will be four separate countries again, oh and probably the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands. I hear Cornwall might want independence too.

Lets not start on the general opinion, of the Uk's opinion on Cornwall. For those that don't know, its got something to do with inbreeding and people being born with six toes and all that sort of thing.

As you can pretty much guess from the rest of the posts here, United Kingdom means nothing of the sort. Which is nice!
