In response to the flight I read in The Herald-25/04/2007 on SA skilled labour quota system, I am sbmitting my CV for consideration seeking employment in the SA metallurgical sector. I am currently employed as a Foundry Foreman.I am a qualified Foundry Metallurgist. I have over 6 years experience working in big ferrous and non ferrous foundry servicing the mining, agricultural and general engineering sectors. I have worked with Induction Furnaces, Direct Arc Furnaces, coil heated crucibles, coke/oil fired Morgan tilt crucibles and Cupolas doing low steel alloys, manganese steel, SGs, Cast Irons, NiCr Steels, Ductile Irons, White iron, Ni Hard, Medium Chrome alloys, copper alloys and aluminium alloys. I have extensive experience with die casting, extrusion(copper and aluminium), heat treatment, metallography, failure analysis, mill liners, gears, grinding media, valves, pump spares, pinions, mill rolls,automotive spares and various general engineering spares.I have risen through ranks from a Trainee Plant Metallurgist to Senior Steel Foundry Foreman in my career.I am a man 34, married with 1 kid. May you advise on how I go about to be cleared and be issued with a work permit to work in SA.
