Prostitution is rampant here also, and perfectly legal, and while I know it is also legal in most places in Europe I've never seen it in such proliferation as it is her
Around the world it is not just a case of prostitution but cheap labour is allowed and the authorities turn a 'blind eye' to it all the time. When I was in Las Vegas, all the maids were from Latin America and when we were taken out in the evening, all the food was prepared and served by an army of foreign people. When I asked my cousin how all these people have the right to work here in the United States, he replied, "none of them are legal. They come for a job interview and when asked for their 'Green Card', they will say that it is lost at home somewhere but I will bring it tomorrow. They will turn up for work tomorrow without the Green card and no more questions will be asked. They work and pay taxes but their are not paying in to any social security schemes so the American Government will not be responsible for keeping them in old age". When I arrived in Australia, the first taxi driver I had was a Greek from Cyprus and so it went on. It all just goes to show that every modern industrial nation under the sun survives by employing an under class with the right to work or not. No economy can survive otherwise. We have loads of Poles, Latvians and Ukrainians doing cheap gardening work in Surrey.
