Hello Scott
Welcome to the forum. I LOVE WYOMING!!!!!! LUCKY YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to an equestrian school in Powell. How do you like Wyoming? Why are you retiring?
Sorry, too many questions.
I visited a naval base in Wyoming once. We went underground where the missles were kept. My father was in the Polish Army and he was very interested in that. I've been to the the "Air and Space Museum" in South Dakota many times.

Hi Krysia,
Wyoming is beautiful. Cheyenne is a little flat but the farther north west a person goes the more beautiful it is. The Air Force is medically reitiring me after 15 yrs 9 months because of my ankle having three joints fused. It is wierd to be getting out after all that time but I believe in GOD very strongly and I will let it all be in his hands with me having faith and doing my part. I used to work for the Navy. Six years to be exact. I worked at the NAVAL EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE SCHOOL in Maryland until the school house moved to Fort Walton Beach Florida. Where exactly are you located Krysia? I am orginally from Pueblo, Colorado. I love Colorado..LOL Well hope to hear back from you soon. Questions are a good thing. I know I will have plenty to ask..Take care!!

hello Scott
What happened to your ankle? Three joints fused together? Wow. Can you walk OK?
I live in Wiscinsin right now. But I lived in Colorado for 2 years, Fort Collins, and I just loved it. I travel out there whenever I can. I have Polish friends in Glenwood Springs. Thay own some motels there and I like sitting in the Hot Mineral pool and look at the guys, but most of them are fat. I go to Thermopolis in Wyoming, to their Hot Mineral Pool and soak my ....@#!@#$ . I've been going there since I was a baby. It's called "Fountain of Youth". I'm 86 years old, but you can't tell.
Boy, you must be brave. I think anybody who goes to the army or the navy is brave. They sacrifice their life for their country and they deserve respect.
Talk to you later.

Hi again Krysia,
I was born with whats called Club foot on both feet. Over the years of jumping up and down and the Air Force has taken its toll. I have problems walking but I do okay. I used to live in Glenwood Springs when I was about 7 years old. I don't remember much. I have always wanted to go to Thermopolis since I have been here. Maybe now I will have time to check out those hot springs. Hey sorry it takes me so long to write back. I am new to this forum and I keep getting lost to where this topic is..LOL 86 years old..HUH You can't be serious.. I am trying to learn to speak polish. I am married to a beatuiful Polish women named GOSIA. I know some of the basics but find it to be harder then the TURKISH language. I was stationed there for two years and I know a good amount of the basics for that language. I want to surprise my wife one day and be able to talk to her in polish. You seem to be pretty busy on this forum, but if you have sometime maybe you can teach me some stuff. Well you take care and have a wonderful day and look forward to chatting with you again..

I can help you with some Polish. I have some extra time right now because I'm recuperating from a near-fatal accident. I was very close to being 6 feet under by now and feeding the maggots. (Yuk, I hate those things). I was in VERY bad shape. Got flown by helicopter to emergency and had two 12 hour operations on my spinal cord. I was paralyzed from the waist down. My vertebrae was smashed into 100 little pieces and I have metal rods in my back. I was in the hospital two months and had to wear a body brace for 4 months. I couldn't move at night, I had to sleep on my back or call a nurse to move me on my side. It was hard to sleep in that thing. First time I sat up after the surgeries were over ( about 3 weeks later) I was sooo dizzy and couldn't keep my balance. Lived in a wheel-chair for a while. I think everyone should experience living in a wheel-chair because then you know how hard that really is and you appreciate what you have.
In case you're wondering, I'm not in a wheel-chair anymore.

Wow!!
I am so so sorry to hear that. I am glad to hear your okay though. I will keep you in my prayers that all stays good for you. I am amazed to be honest with you that your okay. That is so crazy. I don't want you to think I am getting religious on you or anything but GOD is GREAT!! Your living proof that he exists.. Any Polish you can help me on would be great and appreciated. So how are things up in Wisconsin? Wyoming is good. It is starting to cool off quite a bit now. How do you say your name. Can you spell it phonetically for me. It sounds like a beautiful name. Where are you from in Poland orginally. Did you find English hard to learn? I am determined to learn Polish..LOL Well I will let you go. Take care and nice hearing from you again.

Probably the best way to pronounce my name is if you'd say the word "cringe" but don't say the "nge" part. and then say "sha".
And don't cringe when you say it. So it should sound something like: Cri-sha.
My parents are both from Poland, they got missplaced after the war and found each other in Chicago, of all the places. So I was born in USA. State of Washington. That's why I love the mountains so much.
My father worked for the government so we lived all over. He was also an architect and so was my mother, and so we built homes everywhere we went. I was always stuck doing the dirty jobs, like mixing the cement or nailing boards, or going inside the house to get more nails, a screw-driver, monkey-wrench, philips-head, crow-bar and a band-aid. So I know all aspects as to building homes. I also built myself a dome-home, because I'm an artist I had my art studio upstairs and I'm also a pianist, so I had my white baby-grand piano right in the middle of the living room. I chose a burgundy wine colored carpet so the baby-grand would stand out more.

Hey Krysia,
Thanks for teaching me how to say your name. Do you ever feel cheated cause you didn't grow up in Poland? So you know how to build houses. Maybe I should have you take me to school on how to do all that..LOL I need to build three rooms in my downstairs basement. By the way how are you doing today? I haven't had much time to practice any Polish. Some of the stuff I have learned is being forgotten cause I don't use it.. What do you think is the best book/CD out there for helping with learning Polish? Do you have any plans on going to Poland to visit anytime soon. I would like to go to Chicago and visit the Polish community there. I hear it is really nice. Well you take care!!
